DERMATOLOGY, VENEREOLOGY AND LEPROSY (DVL)

The Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy (DVL) was established in 1999 and evolved into post-graduate course (MD-DVL) in the year 2011. Doctorate program (PhD) was initiated in 2013. Currently department has 7 faculties, 12 MD-DVL postgraduates and three PhD scholars. Fungal diseases, psoriasis and Trichology (hair disorders) have been our thrust area with ongoing projects. Department also conducts a wide array of multidisciplinary researches to advance the knowledge in this area.

Consultation service for all skin, hair and nail related problems. Leprosy and sexually transmitted disease are also tested and treated.
