General Medicine
The Department of Medicine has been functioning in Yenepoya Medical College Hospital since1999. Department has state of the art ICU with 20 beds; Department has started a 12 bedded well equipped step down ICU which caters to critical ill patients coming from far and wide. The Department also manages Casualty and Emergency Medicine.
The Department participates in research activities such as clinical trials, clinical research on topics such as scrub typhus, TB Nutrition, Dengue fever and Malaria and also on chronic disease in collaboration Yenepoya Research Centre
The department has well structured teaching programmes for the postgraduates both within the department and inter department.
The department takes part in various peripheral camps regularly.
Clinical Services:
- Diabetes and Endocrinology clinic daily
- Haematology clinic once a week
- Rheumatology Clinic twice a week Tuesday, Thursday
