The department of Nephrology was established in the year 2012. Since then, we have achieved many milestones like introducing haemodialysis facilities and dialysis for acute kidney injury. Department provides state of the art facilities at a very affordable cost, especially to patients with low socioeconomic status. The department has 17 haemodialysis machines, including two each dedicated for serology positive patients and MICU patients. Other facilities include CAPD, Plasmapheresis intermittent peritoneal dialysis, tunnelled catheters, Paediatric Nephrology, temporary catheters, renal biopsy, a renal transplant programme - both live and cadaver. The department is pioneer in academics and research as well.
