NEUROLOGY

The Department of Neurology was established in 2011. Our neurology experts have a proven track record of treating wide range of neurological disorders including diseases of the brain,demyelinating and neurodegenerative disorders, spinal cord, peripheral nervous system, neuromuscular diseases and disorders at the interface of the brain and mind.

The department owns state-of-the-art neuro-intensive facilities for inpatients as well as outpatients providing comprehensive tertiary level care for patients with neurological problems. We also have separate neurophysiology laboratory subsection with advanced neurophysiology digital equipment. In addition to primary and follow up Neurology OP services, subspecialty services are also provided for cognitive and behaviour disorders, memory disorders, dementia, movement disorders, stroke-TIA, epilepsy, neuro pain and healthy brain clinics. Neurophysiology services are available round the clock on all working days. The department has a separate Neurophysiology laboratory subsection with state of art advanced neurophysiology Nihon Kohden digital equipment, namely 32 channel Digital/Video EEG System NeuroFax EEG-1200K, Portable Digital EEG system EEG-9100K, and EMG/NCS/EP 4 channel System-MEB 9600K.

The department caters to Outpatients (New & Follow up) daily except on Sundays that includes General Neurology OPD as well as sub-specialty clinics for specific neurological disorders on particular days.
