Sneha Milana 2024: Annual Gathering of Yen Mitras and Yen Sahyog Partners of YMCH
The Yen Sneha Milana 2024 was held on 21 December 2024 at the Yenepoya Medical College Hospital, Deralakatte. The Sneha Milana is an Annual gathering of the Yen Mitras and Yen Sahyog Partners, the ground-level community Partners of YMCH, to honor and recognize their efforts and bring them closer as a community. The Formal event began with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries on the dais along with the Yen Mitra Representative.
Before the formal event, the 'Patient Party Freshen-up and Stay Facility' at the Zulekha Bhavan was inaugurated by the dignitaries present.
The Sneha Milana Event was graced with the presence of Chief Guest Mr. A. K. M Ashraf, MLA of Manjeshwar Constituency, Govt of Kerala and the Guest of Honor Dr. M. A. Wani, Senior Consultant Yenepoya Group Hospitals. The Yen Mithras and the Yen Sahyog partners participated in large numbers with great zeal and enthusiasm. Dr. Mohammed Guthigar Head of Social Works Department YMC gave the welcome address to the gathering.
In the keynote address Dr. Nagaraj Shet (AMS, YMCH) emphasized the wide catchment area of the hospital and elaborated on the various recognitions and empanelments of the hospital with the government schemes, including Government of Kerala Schemes. "Nearly 40% of the in-patients have received cashless treatments under the scheme", he said, while highlighting that 6 lakh + patients have received treatment in the hospital's OPD. Dr. Habib Rahaman A.A. Medical Superintendent, YMCH, in his presidential address highlighted the affordable and comprehensive healthcare at the NABH and NABL accredited Yenepoya Medical College Hospital, and urged all to avail the benefits of quality healthcare.
The Chief Guest of the Event Mr. A. K. M Ashraf expressed his heartfelt appreciation towards the Management of Yenepoya Medical College Hospital for their extensive Charity work and their contribution to healthcare through affordable treatments to the patients, including patients from Kerala. Guest of Honor Dr. M. A. Wani, appreciated the scale at which the Sneha Milana event has grown. He reinstated the importance of this event and wished it continues to grow in the coming years.
During the event the launch of Calendar 2025 was done by the dignitaries on the dais. The MOU for the new Information and Guidance Center at Kumta was exchanged between Medical Superintendent YMCH and Mr. Akhil Khazi. The The Yen Mithras were presented with Institutional ID cards and were included in the Group Insurance Scheme, absorbing them into the institutional family.
The Chief Guest was honoured with a memento of the event and the token of appreciation was presented to the Guest of honour. The senior Officials of YMCH presented the Yen Mitras and Yen Sahyog partners with a symbol of gratitude and remembrance. The formal event commenced with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Vijayananda Shetty, Senior Marketing Executive, YMCH.
The commencement of the formal event was followed by an informal interactive session, with a voluntary and open discussion with all the Yen Mitra and Yen Sahyog Members. The queries and the complaints of the attendees were addressed by the concerned department personnel with suitable solutions and suggestions.
The Section Heads and the HODs Graced the event with their presence.
